Abstract

Results of a study of the amphibian fauna of the Vaucluse department in Southeastern France, undertaken for the past three years (including fifteen years old data), are presented. Bufo bufo, Bufo calamita, Pelodytes punctatus and green frogs Rana sp. are abundant. Triturus cristatus and Bombina variegata, known from early 20th century records, have not been observed.
